Register for Free Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) Training Program for LMHPs

Date: 04/05/18

Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) is a trauma-informed, evidence-based and relationship-based therapeutic treatment for children from birth to age 6 who have early trauma histories and/or are experiencing emotional, behavioral, attachment, and/or mental health problems. If you’re an LMHP with a master’s or doctoral degree, you may apply to receive Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) training worth $6,000.

Because Louisiana Healthcare Connections understands the value of evidence-based treatment, we are offering FREE CPP training to in-network LMHPs who qualify.

CPP training is for mental health clinicians working with young children (birth through 6) and their families and is designed to support the adoption, implementation, and expansion of CPP to serve and improve the outcomes for young children and their caregivers who have experienced traumatic events. Clinicians will be trained to implement CPP with fidelity and within the context of working collaboratively in their organizations.
