Early screening helps providers determine if further treatment or evaluations are needed. As part of an ongoing quality improvement initiative around screening children at risk of developmental delays, the Louisiana Department of Health offers several developmental screening resources. These tools assist providers in screening across 5 domains: General Development, Autism, Perinatal Depression, Social Emotional and Barriers to Health.
