Don't Wait! Schedule Your Mammogram Today.

Date: 01/22/24

Early detection saves lives. If you’re due for your no-cost screening, don't wait.

A mammogram is one of the best and easiest ways to find out if you have breast cancer. And because mammograms can detect breast cancer early, they can save lives.

What is a mammogram?

It’s an X-ray picture taken of your breast used by your doctor to look for any potential signs of cancer.

Will a mammogram hurt?

It can be uncomfortable, but it only lasts for a few minutes, so the discomfort is brief.

When should I get a mammogram?

Louisiana Healthcare Connections wants every member who is age 40 or older to receive their NO-COST breast screening exam and mammogram every 2 years.

Why?

The sooner breast cancer is detected, the better your chances are of living longer. Plus, members ages 50-74 earn $50 in rewards when they get their mammogram!

So go get your mammogram!
