Louisiana Healthcare Connections Hosts Emergency Preparedness Expo

Attendees will get tips to prepare for a natural disaster or other emergency.

Louisiana’s hurricane season is upon us, Jun. 1-Nov. 30, and Louisiana Healthcare Connections wants to help prepare all residents for natural or other disasters with a fun and interesting day of demonstrations, activities, and resources, along with free food and entertainment.

Louisiana Healthcare Connections is partnering with local community resources to connect residents to helping hands should the worst occur. The public is invited to attend one of these area events:

  • Lafayette - May 13, 2023, 9:00 am -1:00 pm

Not only will there be emergency preparedness information and area resources, but live demonstrations such as how to escape from a fire, children’s activities, FREE food, entertainment, and more.
