Update on Change Healthcare Cybersecurity Incident (June 2024)

On June 20, 2024, UnitedHealth Group issued a press release on the Change Healthcare cybersecurity incident that occurred on Feb. 21, 2024. Change Healthcare performed certain medical records services for Louisiana Healthcare Connections. Some of our members and providers may have been affected.

The investigation into what data was impacted is not done yet. However, UnitedHealth Group has begun to notify some customers who were impacted. They have shared a website that has more details.

UnitedHealth Group continues to offer credit monitoring and identity protection services. They also opened a contact center that you can call if you have any questions.
