Stay Connected with a Lifeline Plan from Assurance Wireless
Date: 09/05/25
The high cost of cell phone service can be hard to fit into an average household budget. Going without a smartphone with reliable service is not only inconvenient, it can also impact your health. You may be unable to message your doctors and check lab results in online patient portals. You may also have a difficult time keeping in touch with other members of your care team, like health coaches and care managers. Being disconnected from friends and family can affect your mental health, too.
Lifeline is a federal program that lowers the monthly cost of cell phone service. Eligibility is based on income or participation in certain programs, like Medicaid or SNAP. Lifeline helps people stay connected to their loved ones, their health care, and their community.
You may qualify for no-cost cell phone service from Assurance Wireless.
