OBH is Offering an Opioid Treatment Training Opportunity

On behalf of the Office of Behavioral Health (OBH), Louisiana Healthcare Connections would like to inform providers of the Opioid Use Disorder Treatment Training available in Metairie and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The purpose of this training is to educate and implement National Best Practice Initiatives to include Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and harm reduction strategies.
"#RXOPIOIDTREATMENT" campaign targets providers who offer abstinence based treatment of substance use services. The goal of the training is to educate abstinence based providers on all FDA approved medication used to treat Opioid Use Disorders.
Providers, as well as clinical staff are invited to attend one of the training dates and locations below:
August 26, 2019 in Metairie, Louisiana
August 28, 2019 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
