2018-09: Change in CPST, PSR Authorization Process Delayed

In light of provider confusion and feedback, Louisiana Healthcare Connections will delay the implementation of changes to the authorization process for Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST) and Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) services.

Providers who need to request authorization or re-authorization of CPST and PSR services may continue to use the existing authorization process to do so.

As this process is re-evaluated, Louisiana Healthcare Connections welcomes the input of Mental Health Rehabilitation (MHR) service providers. MHR providers may submit recommendations via email to chbroussard@louisianahealthconnect.com.
