2018-71: Transition to New HCPCS and CPT Codes for ABA Services

Louisiana Healthcare Connections is updating all systems for new 2019 CPT and HCPCS codes, including the new Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) codes. ABA claims will be manually processed to ensure proper reimbursement until all systems are completely updated.

All current ABA authorizations on file with 2018 codes will be automatically converted to new 2019 codes. Continue to follow correct coding conventions and requirements when submitting claims for these services with 2019 dates of service.
