2019-19: Behavioral Health Audit Tools and Manual Updates

Ensuring Medicaid enrollees have access to high quality care that improves their health is at the heart of our mission. As a valued providers caring for our members, we want to minimize the time you spend on quality reporting and chart audits so you can stay focused on your patients.

That’s why we are notifying you that the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) has updated the Behavioral Health Provider Audit Tool Elements. These tools are for all BH providers; however, there are specific tools outlined for substance use disorders and mental health providers. Changes are effective first quarter 2019 and updates have been included in the LDH Behavioral Health Services Provider Manual.
