ASAM Criteria Updates for Adult Substance Use Services (IB 24-2 revised 6.26.24)

Louisiana Healthcare Connections is sharing with providers an update to the ASAM Criteria Updates for Adult Substance Use Services (IB 24-2) revised on June 26, 2024.

Changes made were regarding the trasition to ASAM Criteria -4th Edition fo adults and that these changes are being researched to develop a plan if the revisions are adopted.  Any implementations will require CMS approval and pending budge allocation.
