Coming Soon: Your New Member ID Card

Date: 08/18/17

What You Need To Know About The Change

We have new Member ID Cards coming soon! Louisiana Healthcare Connections members should be on the lookout for replacement ID Cards in the mail. Your Member ID Card is needed to schedule appointments and receive covered benefits.

The cards have a new look and new pharmacy-related numbers you will need for any medicines you receive. These updates do not affect your benefits or prescriptions in any way. But, your pharmacy will need these new numbers beginning September 1, 2017.

Start using your new card on September 1. Until then, keep using your current card.

When you receive your cards, check to make sure all of your personal information is correct. If your Member ID Card contains any incorrect information, please call Member Services at 1-866-595-8133 (Hearing Loss: 711), Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and we will be happy to assist you.

If you do not receive a new ID Card by September 1, it could mean we need to update your contact information. In this case, please call us at 1-866-595-8133 (Hearing Loss: 711), Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. We can update your mailing address and send you a new card.

Members with Behavioral Health benefits only: You will not be receiving a new ID Card. This change does not affect you or your covered benefits. Please continue to use your current Member ID Card.

Have questions? Call us at 1-866-595-8133 (Hearing Loss: 711), Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and we will be happy to help you. Thank you for being a member of Louisiana Healthcare Connections!
