Durable Medical Equipment Ordering Provider Requirements (IB24-49 revised 5.13.25)

Louisiana Healthcare Connections is sharing with providers a recent update to the Durable Medical Equipment Ordering Provider Requirements (IB24-49) revised on May 13, 2025. 

These revisions include the removal of the referring provider language. Also the revision to edit time frame was changed from 30 days to 60 days from the informational bulletin.

This time frame is also for updates to Louisiana Healthcare Connections claims systems within 60 calendar days of this published update.

Providers are encouraged to review the revised IB 24-49 for additional information.
