Free Health, Dental & Vision Clinic Provides Vital Care for Those in Need

BATON ROUGE, LA – As part of its ongoing commitment to improving the health of Louisiana residents, Louisiana Healthcare Connections is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the Baton Rouge Love Impact Coalition Free Clinic on May 31 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. (or until capacity) at the Raising Cane’s River Center, 275 S. River Rd.

The clinic will be providing FREE medical, dental, and vision services to residents of Baton Rouge and surrounding areas, including free eye exams and prescription glasses, free dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions, free medical exams, treatment of chronic illnesses, and more, along with free prescription medication.

“At Louisiana Healthcare Connections, we know that access to medical care is essential for overall health. That’s why we offer a wide range of preventative care for our members, and we also support worthy efforts like the Love Impact Coalition Free Clinic, which provides critical services to those in need,” noted Louisiana Healthcare Connections Chief Medical Officer, Stewart T. Gordon, M.D., FAAP. “This event is a lifeline for many who may not have access to regular healthcare, and we’re grateful to founders Donna Collins Lewis and Nicole Thomas and the many volunteers who make it possible.”

There is no appointment necessary, and no insurance is required. Services are provided on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
