Immunization Fee Schedule Updates - 2024-2025 Influenza Vaccination Updates (IB 24-37)

Louisiana Healthcare Connections is sharing an update to the Immunization Fee Schedule Updates for the 2024-2025 Influenza vaccinations. Louisiana Medicaid is in the process of updating the following immunization fee schedules.

• Children/Adolescents: (birth through age 18)
• Young Adult: (ages 19 and 20)
• Adult: (ages 21 years and older)

The changes, which will be effective for dates of service on and after August 1, 2024, will include coverage of the Infuenza vaccines for recipients of all ages and updates related to Vaccines for Children (VFC).

Once system modifications (which assure proper reimbursement) are completed, the fee schedules will be published. We anticipate completion within three weeks from the date of this notice.

Providers are encouraged to monitor the Louisiana Medicaid website for notifications related to the updates of the Immunization Fee Schedules.
