On April 22, 2024, UnitedHealth Group issued a press release, providing an update on the Change Healthcare cybersecurity incident that occurred on Feb. 21, 2024. Given the size of the data impacted, the investigation to determine whose data is impacted is expected to take several months. UnitedHealth Group believes this situation will impact “a substantial proportion of people in America” and is offering immediate credit monitoring and identity protection services, as well as a dedicated contact center to address questions. As a medical transportation provider, you play a critical role in helping our Medicaid members access the health care they need and deserve. We value your partnership and are pleased to share exciting news with you regarding our Medicaid NEMT and NEAT services. 

Starting May 1, 2021, Louisiana Healthcare Connections will contract with Veyo to broker non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and non-emergency ambulance transportation (NEAT) for our Medicaid members in all 64 parishes.*

Our partnership with Veyo brings new opportunities for driver success and member service. Veyo offers drivers flexible schedules – you set your own hours!

Interested in driving with Veyo? 

Veyo is actively building their driver network in Louisiana. To begin the contracting process, complete an online survey and a representative from the Veyo Network team will reach out to you with next steps.
