LDH launches Project M.O.M.'s Inaugural Catalyst Site Hospitals

With a focus on saving lives and strengthening families, the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) today launched Project M.O.M. (Maternal Overdose Mortality), a person-centered initiative for mothers affected by substance use disorder (SUD). The program’s rollout includes 11 inaugural catalyst site hospitals across the state, marking a significant step forward in maternal care.

- Opelousas General Health System
- Our Lady of the Angels Hospital
- Rapides Regional Medical Center
- Touro Hospital
