MCO Standard Report Cards Available Beginning July 1, 2019

As part of our continuing focus on reducing administrative burden and increasing convenience for providers in our network, Louisiana Healthcare Connections, on behalf of the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), would like to let providers know that a standardized report card template will be available effective July 1, 2019.  

This new resource will allow providers the ability to utilize one standardized form for not only Louisiana Healthcare Connections but across all Louisiana Managed Care Organizations (MCO).  Providers will be able to access their report card for Louisiana Healthcare Connections through the secure provider portal on a quarterly basis. Providing information that will help providers improve Value Based Payments (VBP) programs and giving providers more action oriented information to help progress towards meeting quality performance benchmarks. 

The new standardized report card will include Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures defined by LDH for 2019. Louisiana Healthcare Connections' Provider Consultants will continue to schedule on-site visits to review provider report cards and provide support.
