SBHS Fee Schedule Updates Effective October 1, 2023

Louisiana Healthcare Connections is sharing with providers an update recently made to the SBHS Fee Schedule.

The following two revisions were included in this update:

Effective 10/01/2023, please note that the rate of payment for Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), H0039, is being adjusted to account for the incorporation of Individual Placement Support as a component of the service.  Additionally, there will now only be one set of rates for recipients who are 18 or older.   

Effective 10/01/2023, the unit and rate for Alcohol and/or Drug Services, Individual, H0004, is being adjusted to a 15-minute unit, in place of the per visit unit.  The service was previously reflective of a 45-minute visit, so the new rate is one-third of the current rate.

Louisiana Healthcare Connections will update our systems to reflect these changes before the 10/1/23 state date.
