Specialized Behavioral Health Fee Schedule Update

On behalf of the Louisiana Department of Health, Louisiana Healthcare Connections is sharing the revised Specialized Behavioral Health Fee Schedule. The fee schedule was revised on October 26, 2021 and is posted on the Louisiana Medicaid website. 

Provider should be aware of the following changes:

• The SBH Fee Schedule has been updated to clarify that the new crisis services are for any adult who self-identifies as being in a crisis and there is no need for a diagnosis of serious mental illness (SMI). 
• The SMI requirement is appropriate for the other 2 new services, Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and Personal Care Services (PCS). 
• Two separate tabs have been created, Adult SMI for IPS & PCS and Adult Crisis Services for Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) , Community Brief Crisis Support (CBCS), and Behavioral Health Crisis Care (BHCC).
