Survey Response requested: Feedback on working with DCFS

Louisiana Healthcare Connections is asking for your help in proding feedback on your experience with working with DCFS. The Louisiana Department of Health has created a survey to help better evaluate the agency.  Below is the letter from Kathleen Rickey, State of Louisiana Child Ombudsman.

"As you may be aware, the Louisiana Legislature created an independent state Child Ombudsman position as a part of the Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s office in 2023. In addition to other duties, the state child ombudsman is charged with evaluating the public agencies involved in the protection of children and delivery of services to children and their families. To evaluate DCFS, we are conducting a survey seeking feedback about your organization's work with DCFS on behalf of the children and families in your area. We would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to respond to this anonymous survey.

Additionally, because we have not been able to obtain emails for all of the service providers from DCFS, please forward this email, or the survey link below, to any of your colleagues who have engaged with DCFS in serving children or families involved in the child welfare system.
