2019-35: LDH Updates Hospital Fee Schedule

The Louisiana Department of Health has published updates to the Hospital Fee Schedule that took effect on July 1, 2019. The full fee schedule can be reviewed on the Louisiana Medicaid Provider website.

The update includes changes related to:

• Small Rural Hospital Inpatient per diems have increased effective 7/1/2019.
• Outpatient CCRs have been updated effective 7/1/2019 using the most current cost report data.  Please note that not all hospitals will have an update as there may not have been any changes. 
• Other adjustments for specific hospitals.

Louisiana Healthcare Connections has updated its systems to reflect these fee schedule changes. Claims will be recycled within 15 days with no action required by providers.
