2022 BH Symposium Registration Now Available

The teams at Acadiana Area Human Services District, Woman's Foundation, and Louisiana Department of Health - Office of Behavioral Health, and Office of Public Health are excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2022 Behavioral Health Symposium on September 19-21 at Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge.

The Behavioral Health Symposium will begin with the Louisiana Opioid Action Summit as a one-day, pre-conference event on September 19. This year's summit will focus on "Prevention in Action," with topics including harm reduction, health equity, stigma reduction, and the role of public safety in a public health crisis. This summit will bring stakeholders and community leaders from across the state to discuss and learn about evidence-based strategies and prevention efforts with the overall goal of reducing the impacts of the overdose epidemic in Louisiana.
