2023-20: CPT Codes 81513 and 81514 Were Lifted Effective 9/1/23

Effective September 1, 2023, Louisiana Healthcare Connection lifted the authorization requirement for genetic testing for CPT codes 81513 and 81514. In a hope to ease the administrative burden for providers, providers will no longer be required to submit a request for prior authorization for dates of service on or after 9/1/23.

Providers can review clinical policy LA.CP.MP.97 for additional claim edits still effective.
