Office of Women’s Health and Community Health Announces “The Listen to H.E.R Tour: Hearing, Empowering, and Responding” Town Hall Series

The newly established Office of Women’s Health and Community Health (OWHCH) at the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) invites you to participate in the “The Listen to H.E.R Tour: Hearing, Empowering, and Responding” Town Hall Series. This is the first of nine (9) statewide town halls, that will be held across the state.
About The Listen to H.E.R. Series for Region 2
Who: Office of Women’s Health & Community Health, Louisiana Department of Health
What: The goals of the town halls are to:
- elevate women’s health needs;
- promote local and state resources and services, and;
- inform the priorities of LDH’s new Office of Women’s Health and Community Health.
When: Tuesday, March 21, 2023, 5pm to 8pm
Where: 6201 Florida Blvd., BREC Main Campus, Baton Rouge, LA
Community members in attendance can hear personal testimonies from special guests and participate in health screenings, resource fairs, cooking demonstrations, and other interactive activities.
There is no cost to attend the town halls.
