Pediatric Day Health Care (PDHC) Reimbursement (IB 22-24 revised 5.14.24)

Louisiana Healthcare Connections is sharing with providers a recent update to the Pediatric Day Health Care (PDHC) Reimbursement (IB 22-24 revised 5.14.24). 

This update included the following language added to the bulletin:

UPDATE: Due to learning the previously scheduled recycle of fee-for-service (FFS) claims did not occur,the Louisiana Department of Health will recycle all FFS claims from July 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022 which were billed and paid at the previous Pediatric Day Health Care (PDHC) rates within 15 business days from May 7, 2024. Managed care organizations (MCO) are to verify that PDHC providers were appropriately reimbursed at the new rate for these dates of service. Louisiana Healthcare Connections will recycle any identified claims within 30 days.
